The tender for the two short listed proponents closed on January 16, 2017. The Brickworks Community Panel will meet in early February to discuss the next stages of the tender process and the Community Panel’s involvement.
Once a preferred tenderer is announced, there will be opportunity for wider community input in the review of the Estate Development Plan (a process unlikely to commence before June 2017).
Several site assessments and reports, such as traffic volume counts, have already been commissioned or updated. These can be accessed from the Land Development Authority website.
The widening of Dudley Street is being proposed as part of the development at the Canberra Brickworks. The 171 page report can be found here.
