The Boomanulla Oval will reopen today, after a successful meeting between its board members and representatives from state and federal government departments yesterday.
Boomanulla’s chief executive Noel Ingram said he was confident temporary funding would be granted.
Earlier this month, Boomanulla shut its gates after being declined the federal funding it had been granted annually since 1984.
A long-term plan to fund the Indigenous community centre and sporting grounds in Narrabundah is hoped to be in place by January.
