Upgrade works at Manuka Oval DCP 13/01 (replaces Development Control Plan 12/05)

The NCA received a request from the ACT Government to prepare a Development Control Plan (DCP) for Blocks 6, 10, 14 and 15, Section 15 Griffith. The DCP will guide future planning and development of the site. In July 2012, the NCA approved DCP 12/05 which guided the development of broadcast lighting for the site. If approved, DCP 13/01 will replace DCP 12/05.  Submissions close on Friday 21 June 2013.

Mix of long stay and short stay parking spaces

The Australian Government introduced pay parking on National Land in Parkes, Barton, Russell and Acton as part of the 2013-14 Budget, effective 1 July 2014. The NCA will implement pay parking arrangements on behalf of the Australian Government. A fact sheet outlining the implementation of pay parking on National Land can be found by clicking on the link below.

The NCA invites public comments on the allocation of long stay and short stay spaces. The aim of this consultation is to determine the optimal mix of short stay and long stay spaces within the pay parking arrangements. Comments close 26 June 2013.

As part of the discussion on the allocation of short stay and long stay parking spaces, a separate issue has been raised about the level of retail services and other amenities on National Land in Canberra. While unrelated to pay parking, we are interested to hear your views on the availability of service and amenities in Parkes, Barton and Acton.

Submissions close on Wednesday 26 June 2013.
